About Ahtziri

Ahtziri Burnett is a writer for one of South Florida's leading news station -FOX affiliate WSVN channel 7. She was formerly a co-host for SkyHawk Radio's "The Bougie Show" in Sunrise, Florida. In addition, her previous works also include being a radio personality for WBKE South Florida, where she hosted a segment called "Tea time with ZiriB."

On June 2019, Ahtziri graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors of Communications in broadcast media. Ahtziri is currently seeking hosting positions, especially those in radio and television, in local and national media networks.

Ahtziri utilizes the Bachelor's degree she obtained from the University to strengthen her Associates in communication degree she received from Broward College in 2017.

 In college, Ahtziri was selected to anchor and co-host the first ever news broadcast to include a talk show segment known as "Good Morning Bay."

As a versatile journalist, she tackles a wide range of topics such as politics, health and wellness, arts and culture and breaking news. Yet, her passion is entertainment. 

Ahtziri's on the job knowledge includes Stratus, Premier-pro and INews, to name a few. Her skills help her evolve with the ever-changing world of technology, which elevates her passion for all things entertainment and current events. She is bilingual.
